Romulo our crew chief introduced me (Chris) to Maria a few months ago.  She shared a room with one of her sons and his wife and baby. The house was very dark  was was constructed of thin rusty tin.  When it rained water would come through the bottom of the house.

Not an uncommon story here, Maria's husband disappeared 10 years ago and she has sustained herself somehow.  When we were talking that first time and I was asking her about her life she told me that the only thing she hoped for was more years to spend with her children and grandchildren.  

The thought of a new house was nowhere in her mind as a possibility. She was so thankful when we shared the news with her.  At the key ceremony when we asked her if there was anything we could pray for in her life she asked that we would pray that God would bless her children with homes as well...

Thank you Keller family for making this sweet widowed woman's life a little bit easier and more comfortable!  She will forever be grateful.
