Many of you know Esbin.  He is an 11yr old disabled boy who lives in Buena Vista.  When we first met him he had been bedridden for 5 years with a neurological disorder that destroyed his ability to walk or even use his arms and legs in any way.

Since then, through prayers, physical therapy, monthly milk donations, and lots of love, he has improved to where he can sit up and slowly move his arms and legs.

We have taken Esbin to a neurolgocal specialist in the capital, and have had extensive nerve testing and blood tests done.  With the advice from a well respected Guatemalan doctor, as well as several doctors from the US who have visited, we are initiating a program that we pray can bring this young boy back to health.  His condition can be rehabilitated...  we just need your help.

UPDATE!!!

We recently celebrated the completion of Esbin's dental plan!  For 14 straight Mondays we took Esbin to the dentist.  He had multiple extractions, cavities filled, 2 root canals, and several cleanings.

We celebrated (along with his birthday) the completion of his dental plan with a Pollo Campero birthday party!!  Pollo Campero is a local fried chicken restaurant, and is what Esbin chose when we asked him what he'd prefer if he could have any food he wanted!

Now that Esbin's mouth is in good shape, we can begin a better nutrition plan and continue with physical therapy.
